By planting a Sprout pencil instead of just throwing it out, you can make sustainability visible to others. And inspire them to make small changes in their daily life. All aspects of the Sprout pencil are sustainable and non-toxic – from the biodegradable seed capsule to the 100% natural clay and graphite core and PEFC/FSC-certified wood. These global certification programs confirm that the wood used comes from fully sustainable forests. In other words, a new tree is planted for each tree harvested and used to make the pencils.

You can also choose from 8 different colour/seed combinations and there is an additional option to add personalised packaging.
